Microsoft Surface is a multi-user, multi-touch collaboration platform. MPS Partners has created a Microsoft Surface-specific solution that will enable companies to maximize their investments in back-office applications by providing custom-built applications that support the endless possibilities this new class of product offers. MPS Partners has the industry-leading application developers with the unique combination of skills and experience needed to bring Microsoft Surface to life for a multitude of industries and customers.

Our Offering
MPS Partners has divided their initial Microsoft Surface solution into the following phases. Each phase will bring specific functionality to the market.

Phase 1 – MPS Partners focuses on building specific components that provide:

• User Interface – MPS Partners will develop industry standards for new types of user interfaces for data representation and application-specific gestures.
• Interface with Data – MPS Partners will construct the required components that will allow Microsoft Surface to interface with data including reading files, manipulating folders, loading documents and moving information around a grid such as with scheduling or project management activity.
• Recognition - MPS Partners will create the components that will enable Microsoft Surface to read RFID tags, capture documents and objects.
• Integration – MPS Partners will enable integration of Microsoft Outlook calendars, Microsoft SharePoint with MPS Surface. Additionally back office (ERP and HIS) system integration will take place leveraging the Facts Series reference architecture.

Phase 2 – MPS Partners uses the components from phase 1 to deliver the following solution types:

• Registration Solutions – MPS Partners’ sample registration application will allow scheduled or unscheduled visitors to register, capture ID card, complete survey questions and online forms.
• Data Rendering Solutions – MPS Partners’ sample rendering will build a composite application framework that allows various data sources to be accessed and consolidated into a single functioning application.
• File Rendering Solutions – MPS Partners will create the components that will enable Microsoft Office, photos and videos to be accessed via Microsoft SharePoint.
