MPS Partners Named Microsoft Application Integration Award Finalist

Firm is the Only U.S. Company Recognized for Application Integration Excellence

The award recognizes MPS Partners as having the one of the best solutions to solve a customer’s significant pain point while leveraging the integration capabilities of a Microsoft platform.

The Application Integration Partner of the Year Award honors partners who have delivered a remarkable solution in the middleware and integration space with Microsoft Application Platform products, such as Microsoft BizTalk Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Azure AppFabric, or Microsoft Commerce Server. With more than 3,000 entrants worldwide submitted across multiple categories, MPS Partners placed as a finalist for its application integration work for Dow Corning. The project included:

• Silicone manufacturer Dow Corning turned to MPS Partners when it needed a scalable, flexible platform to support asset visibility within the supply chain. Dow Corning wanted to implement a radio frequency identification (RFID)-based process that would tie movement of its shipments to automated business processes and reduce errors, boost productivity, save costs and increase visibility. As a member of the Microsoft BizTalk Virtual TS team, MPS Partners led the design, installation and configuration of the Microsoft BizTalk RFID system.
• MPS Partners built and implemented the system within four months. With MPS Partners successful deployment, the tool has helped Dow Corning cut delivery windows by 97 percent (from a 12-hour window down to just 20 minutes) and reduce costs by $450,000 USD.
