MPS Partners Hosts Chicago Career Tech Candidates for the Fourth Consecutive SessionChicago, IL – June 20, 2012 – MPS Partners is pleased to announce its fourth session hosting participants of the Chicago Career Tech program. Chicago Career Tech is a job-retraining enterprise that provides businesses with capable, retrained professionals to fill needed positions. Chicago Career Tech retrains rising- and middle-income Chicagoans giving them necessary technical skills that will help them succeed in today’s innovative businesses. Currently MPS Partners is hosting two CCT participants; one in Microsoft Office Specialist and another in Project Management training. These participants will take the skills they learn in the classroom and apply them to business situations at MPS Partners. Both participants will be part of the program for six months. During that time they will work at MPS Partners’ office three days a week from Monday through Wednesday. On Thursday through Saturday, the participants will engage in classroom training and professional development. This will include career coaching, resume and interview workshops and networking events as well as learning the technical skills. |
